The core barcode scanning library at the heart of RedLaser was created to deal with non-autofocus cameras. It works across all iPhones running iOS 4.0 or later (iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, and iPhone 4) and all Android phones.
In addition to our own barcode scanning library, we also run the ZXing library, which is licensed under the
Apache 2.0 License. The core barcode scanning library is available as an SDK for approved developers to use. The SDK uses both the RedLaser algorithm and the ZXing library.
