Toolkit
So… you’ve got a great idea for a barcode-based application on the iPhone.
…you could wait around until everyone’s iPhone has autofocus, and then you could use a run-of-the-mill barcode reading technology. Or you could just use the RedLaser Component Toolkit. The RedLaser Component Toolkit supports iPhone OS 3.1 and higher, and will work on the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS, and any future devices that have a camera and support iPhone OS 3.1 and higher. The Component will be updated frequently to improve speed, format coverage, and accuracy. Integrating with your application is quick and easy. In about ten minutes, you’ll be up and running.
UPDATE: 11/24/2009 The Component Toolkit with realtime scanning is available for integration.
